As the Assistant Principal of Mathematics and Science Instruction at Miramar High School, Terrell is responsible for ensuring that all students at Miramar are on the pathway for excellence and achievement in both Math and Science. He is responsible for providing the greatest learning opportunities for all students grades 9-12. His primary focus is to ensure that when all students are admitted to college they are both successful and competitive at the next level and beyond. Prior to working at Miramar High School, Terrell worked as a Manager of Teacher Leadership and Development for Teach for America and as a Mathematics Specialist for Pearson Education. In addition to Terrell’s leadership roles with teachers, he also has many years of classroom experience as a Math and Science Teacher working with students in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Terrell competed his Bachelor of Arts at Pepperdine University, his Master of Education in Teacher Leadership at Vanguard University, and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Educational Leadership for Social Justice at Loyola Marymount University.
